- Farmers markets are no longer required to enforce the COVID-19 public health requirements from the waiver including capacity limits, one-way lines, spacing between vendors, requiring masks, prohibiting entertainment, prohibiting sampling and eating at the market, and prohibiting pets from the market.
- Like other businesses in the District, farmers markets can choose to continue to implement public health measures such as requiring masks, limiting crowding, promoting vaccinations, etc. Please follow the requirements at your farmers market.
- Farmers markets are no longer required to apply for and receive a waiver from the DC Office of Planning to operate. However, farmers markets are still required to apply for and receive other licenses and permits to operate.
