The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), in partnership with DC Health, is supporting the District’s school-based COVID-19 testing program for school year 2021-22. District public and public charter schools have the option to participate in the OSSE supported program or to contract with their own vendors.
The data presented below represent tests from the OSSE-sponsored program which includes all DC Public Schools and many public charter schools. The program features asymptomatic and symptomatic testing for students and staff. On Wednesday afternoon of each week, this data will be updated for the prior week.
Comprehensive data regarding all identified cases and outbreaks of COVID-19 in District public, public charter and private schools is available at https://coronavirus.dc.gov/data/schools.
