Infants and Children 6 months-4 years can now get vaccinated. The vaccine is safe, effective and lowers the chance of infants and children getting and spreading COVID-19. Infants and children will receive a smaller dose of either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine than what adults receive. Booster doses are now available for children 5 to 11 who received their primary vaccine series on or before March 19, 2022. Children 5-11 who are moderately or severely immunocompromised are eligible for a booster if they received their primary vaccine series on or before May 17, 2022. Booster shots are now available for residents who are 12 and older and received a second dose of Pfizer on or before March 19, 2022. Booster shots are now available for residents who are 18 and older and received a second dose of Moderna vaccine on or before March 19, 2022. Booster shots are now available for residents who are 18 and older and received a Johnson and Johnson vaccination on or before June 16, 2022.
